GreenSlime presents this t-shirt dedicated to a genius of music who stood out both as a composer and producer as well as having a great voice, Curt Boettcher. To make this t-shirt we have used material other than the original designs that did not give good game to the t-shirt and were quite scarce, we have only used the centaur of the single My World Fell Down as well as phrases that appeared in the advert of the single. On the other hand, we have used new typographies that suit the idiosyncrasy of the album and a magnificent illustration of Diana the hunter from the early 20th century. We have also hand-drawn some of the psychedelic typography.
Limited edition 25 handnumbered copies only!

Curt Boettcher was one of the little geniuses who swarmed the LA studios during the second half of the 60s. His feverish activity as a producer made him one of the most creative in his work, for example, his work as producer on the song that made The Association famous, Along Comes Mary, is what made it the hit song that it was. He also worked with Tommy Roe, Gene Clarck, Emitt Rhodes and many more.
But the work that interests us and for which we have made this t-shirt is his work as a songwriter and singer in The Goldebriars, The Ballroom, Sagittarius and The Millennium. From 1966 to 1969 Boettcher has gone down in posterity as an extraordinarily inventive producer and composer of timeless pop gems. He also surrounded himself with other magnificent composers, musicians, producers and performers such as Gary Usher, Sandy Salisbury, Lee Mallory, Michelle O'Malley, Michael Fennelly and Bruce Johnston.
The album Present Tense by the producer duo Gary Usher and Curt Boettcher, artistically known as Sagittarius, is one of the reference albums of the so-called Sunshine Pop of the late 60s and contains the best songs that Boettcher had written together with The Ballroom but had not yet been released. The single My World Fell Down had a moderate success but the album, unfortunately, was a flop, anyway all of us who feel subjugated by the melodies, arrangements and vocal games of Curt Boettcher know that it is a very special album, that's why since we started this website we knew that sooner or later Sagittarius would have its own t-shirt.
