Is Nothing Sacred was the second LP by the punk supergroup The Lords of The New Church, on this LP they would continue the path of their great first LP, emphasising their heterogeneous mix of style that distanced them from the other afterpunk groups of the time. On this LP, recorded in mid 83, we have sixties pop, rock and roll, punk, new wave songs and above all a lot of desire to have a good time and a lot of shamelessness.

After recording the album, the Lords embarked on a tour that took them to the Scandinavian north, the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain… during this stage they made numerous television appearances that can be seen on the internet and that give proof of what they were capable of at that time with a Stiv Bators who, depending on the night, could be a great live performer.
